New Public Works Building

The City of Williston Public Works and Engineering Departments required a new facility to meet both current and long-term staffing and equipment storage needs. The new facility brings together disparate departments including Water, Engineering, Public Works, and Streets so they can operate as a cohesive team to provide more streamlined, integrated services to the community. This 2-story Public Works facility is 96,000 sf. and will provide 20,000 sf. for administration, 20,000 sf. for the shop, and 45,000 sf. for parking, with the additional space to be used for storing equipment indoors during winter months. The complex features numerous new amenities, including meeting spaces, conference rooms, and private rooms for individuals needing to remotely view cemetery lots. Faith Group provided planning, design, and bid phase services for the new facility’s technology systems to include video surveillance, access control, intercom, conference room audiovisual (A/V), digital displays, servers, storage, telephone, and network/physical infrastructure. Our staff also provided coordination documents for other disciplines, space impacts, electrical and communications conduits and cables, network port/switch requirements, monitors, power, and HVAC.
