Community Justice Center
Indianapolis, IN
The City of Indianapolis broke ground on its $571M, 57-acre Community Justice Campus (CJC) in July 2018 at the former Citizens Energy plant. The campus includes a new adult detention center, consolidated courthouse, sheriff’s administrative office building, central utility plant, and an assessment and intervention center focused on providing mental health and other social & addiction treatment services. Faith Group is assisting the Owner’s Construction Management team in reviewing all low voltage system designs, Request for Information (RFI), submittals, and shop drawings to verify compliance with the design criteria performance specifications developed by the Architect/Engineer of Record, as well as providing system commissioning related tasks. Faith Group coordinated with both the City and County user groups regarding fiber backbone, specialty systems for inmates and building management personnel, and electronic detention hardware needed to keep the facility safe and secure.
