I’m still buzzing from the incredible experience at the inaugural AMAC “She Soars” Women in Aviation Summit in Atlanta these past two days! This event was not just a conference—it was a celebration of so many inspiring women in our industry, including many of whom worked tirelessly behind the scenes, to make this a reality. Their dedication and vision executed flawlessly, created an atmosphere of empowerment and collaboration that left one inspired and excited for all that the future holds.
The sessions were diverse and impactful, covering everything from personal development to networking strategies and opportunities, and being a better, healthier and more aware version of ourselves. I left feeling equipped with new tools to enhance my leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of how to be a more well-rounded and fulfilled leader and manager.
What struck me most was the inclusivity of the event—an invaluable space for women seeking to lead and grow, as well as men eager to understand the unique opportunities and challenges women face in aviation, and beyond, today. Together, we’re fostering a brighter future for our industry and that is something to be both inspired and engaged by.
