Our Focus
The first step in a new build, or relocated, command & control center is developing the concept of operations (CONOPS). We assist clients with this upfront plan to create an overarching vision for how the facility will operate. From articulating the business processes and standard operating procedures to the site selection and threat & vulnerability assessment, we work with you to ensure your facility is resilient and that its form meets its function.
Whether designing a two-seat center for a hospital or a 100-seat center for military command, right-sizing the facility for the client is key to ensuring the environment facilitates collaboration. Faith Group works together with the owner and architect to ensure the technology elements are inclusive of aesthetic and space/layout considerations such as ergonomics, adjacencies, flow, and video wall viewing angles/line of sight. We bring best practices from dozens of command & control center projects and industry research to the table to assist with any delivery method and work collaboratively with owners, architects, contractors, and product providers.
As buildings become “smarter,” a holistic operational point for complex facilities is needed. The goal of a command & control center is to reduce the operational resources footprint by using a single pane of glass solution for more effective management and decision making. We have in-house expertise for all systems being integrated into a command & control center, developing solutions architectures for a fully integrated systems approach. Faith Group can also help implement information management and situational awareness platforms to support business intelligence, proactive risk management, and response & dispatch.
