AEC Medical Repair and Renewal IDIQ MATOC

The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Huntsville District renovated Suite 2E1077 of The Pentagon to create a complete, fully functioning, furnished, and equipped Outpatient Pharmacy that meets all applicable codes, regulations, and standards. Faith Group worked as part of the design-build team to facilitate this pharmacy relocation and provide conceptual and detailed engineering design services for multiple low voltage systems. The systems included end point devices for video surveillance, access control, and public address, as well as design for all local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) within the new pharmacy space. As the low voltage expert, Faith Group worked directly with clinic staff during planning and design to develop system functional requirements, technical requirements, system specifications, and detailed engineering design for installation and implementation. Our staff also provided construction administration services during the implementation phase to verify the installation was completed according to the design and industry standard and to ensure end-user requirements were met.

This project is unique because The Pentagon had an installer in place prior to design for all low voltage and security systems, which required Faith Group to provide an enhanced level of coordination, product selection, and constructability reviews with the on-site installation team.
