Washington University Medical Center (WUMC) added a 500,000 sf. 12-story tower to the BJC Healthcare North Campus, and a 225,000 sf. 12-story tower addition to the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Building. Faith Group provided technology planning and design for this Campus Renewal Program. In addition to building low voltage systems (CCTV, access control, communications and distributed antennae system, IT infrastructure), we also designed specialized clinical systems such as nurse call, patient monitoring, infant abduction (that also complied with life safety means of egress requirement), fetal monitoring, temperature monitoring, patient training, patient bedside, Real-time Locating System (RTLS) monitoring, and others. Faith Group assisted the hospital IT equipment procurement team to develop a listing of all required equipment for each space that included computer workstations and printers.
